Do you want to prepare for an entrance exam, or for a graduation exam? Or do you just want to improve your guitar skills, as a professional or an advanced enthusiast? Then Raphaella's master class is exactly what you need.

Raphaella Smits, for decades internationally praised as a great performer, is also well known as an inspiring teacher for both guitar and chamber music. In addition to her chair at the Lemmens Institute in Belgium, she gives master classes worldwide at renowned institutions and at the most important festivals. Following her lessons will leave you with an unforgettable impression

From Tuesday 10 to Saterday 14 April 2018, Raphaella will give master classes to a limited number of participants at her own workshop. Every student will receive a maximum number of individual lessons. Chamber music classes are optional, depending on demand. A closing concert by the participants will conclude a week of hard work on Saterday April 14, at 3 pm. Grab this unique opportunity to enhance your guitar playing, to learn new repertoire and to forge lifelong friendships.

This is not a residential course: the lessons will start daily at 2 pm. We finish class around 6 pm. Immediately afterwards we end each day with supper, with all the participants cozy at La Smits's family table. After that, the students will return to the accommodation of their choice in the area (youth hostel, b&b, hotel) according to their self-planned arrangements. It is also there that the participants in the morning can prepare themselves properly for the lesson.

The participation fee for this non-residential five-day course is 300 (included all evening meals). One can also opt for the one-day formula as a soloist or as an ensemble at the cost of 100 (including dinner). The application form will be sent to you upon request to academix@ymail.com. The deadline is March 1st, 2018.
